Announcing P150 + Redwoods Pilot
We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership and invite you to join an informational session to learn more. P150 is partnering with Redwoods, a pilot project conceived with Climate Lead (formerly CLI), and supported by ClimateWorks, and High Tide Foundation to help philanthropic professionals and donors achieve their climate funding aspirations with speed.
P150 members who apply and are selected to join the pilot receive:
Live training led by experts in climate philanthropy
Diligenced, fundable opportunities throughout the year that are vetted for climate impact, along with materials to help you frame the issue and the projects with your client donors.
Email and phone support selecting specific opportunities to present to donors, provided by the Redwoods team
There will be two chances to join an info session. From there, we’ll ask P150 members to apply to be in the first cohort of advisors. If included in the inaugural cohort, you’ll be invited to an in-person training on climate philanthropy best practices. This training runs in advance of the P150 Gathering in San Francisco, on June 10th.
RSVP for one of the two, virtual info sessions:
Option 1: May 16 at 11am Pacific
Option 2: May 21 at 9 am Pacific
If you have any questions, please reach out to maria@redwoodscollective.org.
Best,
Kim (Redwoods, Advisor and Partnerships) and Kate (P150 ED)

About Redwoods: Redwoods is a pilot that emerged from research, focus groups and donor demand over the last two years that signified a philanthropic market need for vetted solutions and reliable intelligence in climate. Our founding donor partners, donor and operating partner Alejandro Foung, and a consulting team led by P150 member Kimberly Dasher Tripp built partnerships, infrastructure and a startup team to create a new kind of intelligence service, specifically built for donor advisors and philanthropic intermediaries. The service is set up to leverage valuable intelligence and make it available to philanthropic professionals who plan to add climate to their portfolio or expand their climate funding, beginning with our partnership with Climate Lead. The startup team, led by Maria Elena Franco, is experienced in social entrepreneurship, climate philanthropy, and management consulting.
About Climate Lead: Climate Lead acts as an impartial and trusted guide to high net worth philanthropists who are entirely new to climate, equipping them with the information and insights they need to drive transformative solutions. They cut through the complexity by curating roadmaps in partnership with a diverse network of experts, helping funders make a bold impact on climate from day one. Since leading climate funders created Climate Lead in 2019, they have helped philanthropists move more than $5 billion into high-impact climate solutions globally. Because Climate Lead is fully funded by leading philanthropies, they offer our services free of charge, prioritizing donors' interests and climate impact.
