Our Team
Mitali Chakraborty (she/her)
Mitali Chakraborty is the Executive Director of P150, a global community of philanthropic advisors working together to spark innovation, collaboration, and lasting impact for people and the planet. Based in New York City, she brings 20+ years of experience leading initiatives across philanthropy, tech, and social impact—always with a focus on connection and getting things done. Her career spans producing large-scale events for SXSW, Sundance, Live Nation, and the Tech Jobs Tour, as well as founding Youth Jobs Connect to expand opportunities for marginalized youth.
Mitali’s leadership is fueled by energy, warmth, and a deep belief in community. She is an alumna of Emory University, serves on the boards of Green 2.0 and Youth Service America, and is the proud aunt of two little nephews who keep her inspired. When she’s not building partnerships or hosting gatherings, you’ll likely find her on a tennis court, traveling, or bringing friends and family together around the dinner table.
Jody Giles CPA, CFP ®, CAP ® (she/her)
Jody is a philanthropy strategist and social impact expert with over 20 years of experience in wealth and philanthropic advisory. Serving in the multi family office space, she’s guided ultra-high-net-worth families in designing innovative solutions for impactful giving. Since 2019, she has helped deploy over $1.1 billion in philanthropic capital. Her commitment to breaking silos and fostering collective impact inspired her to envision the P150 community. With a bold mission to move $10 billion in philanthropic capital by 2030, Jody is dedicated to reshaping the giving landscape.
Jody lives in Los Angeles with her twin teenage daughters and rescue dog, Sugar. When not chauffeuring or deciding what’s for dinner, she finds balance on hiking trails.
Sheri Signer (she/her)
Sheri is an operations strategist who helps nonprofits and philanthropic organizations work better. At P150, she draws on extensive experience in project management, systems design, and cross-functional planning to lead strategic operations and build systems that enable everyone to work toward P150’s mission.
A certified PMP, Sheri is especially interested in how data, technology, and AI can support more equitable, efficient, and informed work across the sector. Before joining P150, she worked with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, City Parks Foundation, Slow Food USA, Film Society of Lincoln Center, and the Clinton Global Initiative.

Joining Google Group sub-groups
We have created sub-groups within the main Google Group for members who participate in our Women’s Leadership Group and/or our Single Shingles & Executive Directors of Lean Foundations Group. If you would like to be added to either group, please email us at info@p150.org.
What to post
Sourcing requests for possible organizations to fund (ex: I’m looking for great criminal justice organizations working on policy in California). The more detailed, the better.
Posing questions you’re grappling with in your work or seeking thought-partnership on.
Any resources you find helpful or provocative. We love a conversation with rich back and forths or healthy debate.
How to start a new conversation
Head to this link and click “New Conversation.” Write it just like an email and send off to the community.
You can also send an email directly to: philanthropy150@googlegroups.com from your own email account.
Replying to posts
Don’t be shy, reply! Help members out if you have an org that meets their search criteria or have a resource or idea that would be helpful.
We strongly encourage you to “Reply All” whenever possible versus reaching out directly to a member. When going direct, the rest of the community misses out on your knowledge. (An exception is RSVPing to a specific event, which can be done directly).
What not to post
According to our norms, this is a no sales zone. Given the amount of pitching we receive as advisors, this is a place where we are not pitching our services or on behalf of our affiliates. If you’re not sure, feel free to ask!
If you need to post something anonymously
Ask Jody – she does it all the time!

At the end of each year, membership re-ups automatically for the members who completed their end of year survey and attended 3 events across the year (or played a leadership role in one of those programs). Members who haven't been actively engaged are offboarded to keep the network vibrant and responsive (and to make space for other members who are eager to join). That said — we know life happens. If there were extenuating circumstances that impacted your ability to participate, just reach out. We're happy to make space for flexibility when it's needed.
