Better giving begins with better connections.
P150 brings philanthropic advisors together to share what they know, work through challenges, and get more done.
01 / WHY P150
Good advice gets better together.
Advisors carry enormous responsibility, but often work in isolation. P150 makes it easier to find trusted peers, share experience, and act together when it matters.
Collaboration
Work through the hard stuff.
Compare notes, get candid advice, and tackle real questions with people you trust.
Collective Action
Move more together.
When opportunities arise, coordinate expertise, resources, and giving toward shared goals.
Connection
Find your people.
Reach colleagues who understand your work, bring different perspectives, and can help you find answers.
02 / MEMBERSHIP IN PRACTICE
A network that shows up for you.
Membership isn't another newsletter or event series. It's access to people who can help you think, learn, and do your work better.

IN OUR MEMBERS’ WORDS
“We are living in an age where we can no longer afford to work in silos — across issues, segments of philanthropy, and as advisors.”
04 / OUR MEMBERS

P150 brings together members across three roles. Each brings direct experience and a commitment to sharing it with others.

Solo Practicioners02
Lean foundations
Lead or work at foundations with fewer than 10 employees that deploy at least $5 million per employee annually and fund grantees directly.
Lean Teams
03
Field builders
Fund or develop the community, tools, and infrastructure that strengthen philanthropy advising, including as a program officer or funder.

04 / WHAT WE ASK
High trust makes our work possible.
The community works because members contribute to it. We ask everyone to follow a few simple commitments.
-
Join at least three events each year and respond to peers who reach out.
-
Be generous with ideas, without pitching services or fundraising for grantees.
-
Keep conversations private unless someone gives explicit permission to share.
-
Tell us when a P150 connection strengthens your work or helps move money.
-
Keep your profile and areas of expertise up to date.
05 / OUR STORY
It started
with a dinner.
In 2021, a small group of philanthropy advisors got together to talk about a shared frustration: the work could feel isolating, even when everyone was trying to solve related problems.
That dinner led to conversations with more than 100 advisors, a simple Google Group, and the first gathering in New York. The community has grown, but the idea hasn't changed: good things happen when the right people have a place to find each other.
JOIN THE CONVERSATION
Think this could be your kind of community?
If your work fits one of the roles above, we'd be glad to hear from you. Tell us a little about what you do and what you're hoping to find.
